We're looking for a motivated and people-focused Back of House (Kitchen) Leader to support the management team in leading a high-performing kitchen, delivering exceptional food quality, and developing team members to reach their full potential.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys leading the team, coaching others, and ensuring every product meets Pret's standards.

What We're Looking For

· Previous experience in hospitality, food production, catering or another fast-paced kitchen environment

· Experience leading, coaching or supervising a team

· A passion for food quality and operational excellence

· Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards

· Excellent communication and people skills

· A positive, hands-on approach and willingness to lead by example

· Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities

· The ability to stay calm and effective in a busy environment

· A desire to learn, grow and develop your leadership career

What You'll Be Doing

· Leading kitchen shifts and supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the shop

· Coaching and developing team members to build confidence, capability and kitchen knowledge

· Ensuring all food is prepared and presented according to Pret standards and specifications

· Driving excellent food safety, health & safety and hygiene standards at all times

· Managing stock levels, ordering, product availability and stock rotation

· Minimizing waste and helping to control food costs

· Supporting training, onboarding and development of new team members

· Helping to build a strong talent pipeline and succession plan within the kitchen team

· Driving productivity and ensuring the kitchen operates efficiently during busy periods

· Creating a positive, engaging and inclusive team culture

· Acting as a role model for Pret's Values and Behaviours
