We're looking for an experienced and people-focused Assistant Manager to support the General Manager in leading a high-performing Kitchen team, delivering outstanding food quality, developing people, and driving operational excellence.

What We're Looking For

· Previous management experience in hospitality, food production, catering, or another fast-paced food-focused environment

· A passion for developing people and building strong teams

· Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene and operational standards

· Excellent communication and leadership skills

· A positive, hands-on leadership style

· Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities

· Confidence leading busy shifts and making decisions under pressure

· The ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment

· A commitment to delivering exceptional quality and consistency

· A desire to build a long-term career and develop future leaders

What You'll Be Doing

· Supporting the General Manager in building a strong Family Tree and succession plan for the Kitchen team

· Leading, coaching and developing team members to reach their full potential

· Driving Team Happiness by role modelling Pret's Values and Behaviours

· Creating a positive, engaging and inclusive team culture

· Leading shifts and ensuring excellent day-to-day Kitchen operations

· Maintaining exceptional food quality, food safety and hygiene standards

· Ensuring all products are prepared and presented according to Pret standards

· Driving availability and production standards throughout the day

· Managing stock, ordering processes and minimizing waste

· Supporting recruitment, training, legal compliance training and graduations

· Completing regular 1:1s and supporting team development plans

· Working closely with Front of House teams to deliver great customer experience

· Supporting productivity, labor control and shop profitability
